Last year’s
seventeenth annual Charity Ball added £11,000 to the amount raised, a total
of over £210,000 donated to date to local charities.
The 2009 Ball
will be spectacular with a theme of the ORIENT EXPRESS.
We will be
inviting our guests to come aboard the luxury train which departs on
Saturday 20th June, with Champagne Reception and Swing Band in the waiting
room, followed by an onboard four course Dinner, Cabaret and Dancing to
live music and disco .
The theme
was inspired by the idea of travel ... because Ledston
Ball is on the move!
The ORIENT
EXPRESS Ball will be held in the magnificent Long Room at Headingley Carnegie Stadium catered by Headingley Experience (caterers of last year’s Ball).
By changing the venue we are able to
respond to the dreaded credit crunch by reducing the cost of our tickets to
£80.00, while at the same time keeping the standard of
food, entertainment and WOW factor just as before.
We invite
you to join us on this journey... we are very enthusiastic and determined
that Ledston Ball will not be a victim of
economic downturns.. we
all need something to look forward to.
